A YEAR OF SEASONAL WORKSHOPS
This is the FOURTH in a 4-part Seasonal Series exploring the unique nervous system states of Inner Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn.
#4 INNER AUTUMN
September 2026 | 7pm – 8pm via ZOOM
A grounding 60-minute workshop to help you understand what your female nervous system truly needs during the Inner Autumn phase — whether that’s your luteal phase, late pregnancy, or perimenopause.
This is not a “fix your mood” session.
This is a space to honour sensitivity, truth, boundaries, and the body’s call to slow down and refine.
WHAT IS INNER AUTUMN?
In cyclical living, Inner Autumn is present through these major thresholds:
⟶ Luteal phase of your menstrual cycle
⟶ Late pregnancy
⟶ Perimenopause
These are phases of increasing sensitivity, fluctuating energy, and nervous system recalibration.
You may notice sharper perception, lower tolerance for noise or nonsense, heightened emotion, or a desire to withdraw and evaluate.
Your nervous system has less capacity in this phase, but you have more access to neuroplasticity during this time. Understanding this pattern can help you stop pathologising yourself and start responding with skill.
Inner Autumn is not a problem to solve. It’s a phase of discernment and preparation.
A grounding exploration of the sensitive, discerning energy of Inner Autumn — the luteal phase, late pregnancy, and perimenopause.
As emotions rise closer to the surface and tolerance shifts, discover how your nervous system is recalibrating.
Learn practical tools for steadiness, boundaries, and self-trust so you can navigate this phase with clarity rather than self-criticism.
Date: September 2026
Time: 7–8pm UK time
Location: Live VIA Zoom
Price: £10 (access to replay included)
In the female body, sensitivity is information
When you understand the nervous system shifts of Inner Autumn, your irritability, emotional intensity, or sudden need for space begin to make sense.
This workshop will help you:
✔ Understand what’s happening in your body during luteal phase, late pregnancy, and perimenopause
✔ Learn how to regulate when emotions feel closer to the surface
✔ Experience somatic tools to support nervous system steadiness
✔ Explore healthy boundary-setting during sensitive phases
✔ Leave feeling validated, clearer, and more equipped to honour your changing needs
This is a live, guided and held space — no cameras required.
We’ll begin with simple education on the Inner Autumn nervous system state before moving into:
01: Somatic practices to support steadiness and containment
02: Practical tools for navigating sensitivity and fluctuating energy
03: Reflection on boundaries, rest, and capacity
Think dimmer lighting, a journal nearby, slower breath, and an hour to honour what your body has been trying to communicate.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
You feel more sensitive or irritable before your bleed.
You’re navigating late pregnancy or perimenopause and feel emotionally stretched.
You want to understand your body instead of fighting it.

Hi, I’m Maxine!
I started practicing Yoga ten years ago and became curious how a group of people, each carrying very different struggles, could gather & practice yoga together and generally leave feeling a little lighter.
I began Yoga teacher training in 2020 and kept pulling on that thread. This led me to specialise in Yoga & the Nervous System, which led me to specialise in Yoga for trauma, which led me to Somatics and finally to specialise in Somatics for the female nervous system.
I am now a trauma trained yoga and somatic practitioner and my study continues…
