Yoga & Somatic Practitioner for the Female Nervous System
for women who want to feel resourced, embodied and reclaim their innate feminine wisdom
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
Despite doing “all the right things,” you still feel anxious, dysregulated, or stuck in cycles of fatigue and overthinking.
Hi, I’m Maxine!
Through presence, movement, and education, I help women understand the language of their female nervous system and learn to live from that truth. It’s a practice of remembrance: slow, sensory, and profoundly human — where healing happens not through doing more, but through being more yourself.
My approach blends somatic science and yoga principles with intuitive awareness to help women rebuild trust and relationship with their own bodies. Moving beyond regulating the nervous system to focus on resourcing — expanding your capacity to feel without overwhelm, rather than trying to control or suppress emotion.

Nervous System care is important and here’s why
Nervous System health is foundational
Your nervous system impacts all systems of the body, endocrine (hormone), cardiovascular, reproductive, respiratory and so on. You can take all the supplements, do all the movement protocols, change your diet, and all of these may be helpful, but if you don’t address the root cause, these can only take you so far. If you want to make real change, it has to start with your nervous system.
When you begin to prioritise your Nervous System with intention and compassion, you begin to address the root cause of inflammation in your body from chronic stress, trauma, decades of suppressing emotions, people pleasing or trying to control everything.
No part of your physiology can thrive when your nervous system is stuck in survival. A nervous system operating in survival mode has very little capacity because it is merely trying to get through each day - living this way is exhausting.
“We have to belong to ourselves as much as we need to belong to others. Any belonging that asks us to betray ourselves is not true belonging.”
Ways to work with me
I offer three ways to work with me, depending on what feels right for you: in-person group somatic yoga classes, one-to-one somatic sessions, and online nervous system workshops.
If you’re unsure which option would suit you best, you’re very welcome to book a free call so we can talk it through together.

Group Somatic Yoga Classes
No-one comes to me saying ‘my nervous system is dysregulated’ but here’s what they do say….
I’m exhausted no matter how much I sleep
I find myself overthinking everything
I feel stuck and I don’t know why
I find it really hard to set and hold boundaries
I feel disconnected from my self, from my body
I feel too much or I feel numb
I procrastinate so much that I never achieve any of my goals
I’m constantly worrying what other people think of me
I keep getting sick
My cycle is irregular and I have lots of cycle symptoms
I’m here to help you understand your nervous system.
By learning how to resource rather than regulate, you can find steadiness and depth in everyday life. Emotions no longer feel overwhelming: they become information.
Somatic Intelligence
The body holds wisdom the mind can’t reach — by listening to sensation, we learn safety, truth, and self-trust from within.
Resourced Living
Instead of calming or fixing, I teach women to expand capacity — to meet life’s intensity with grounded, embodied presence.
Embodied Education
A balance of science and sensitivity — translating nervous system awareness into practical tools for self-understanding, emotional fluency, and everyday empowerment.
Somatic work is about reclaiming what has been lost due to trauma and chronic stress. Reclaiming your relationship with your body, feeling safe to experience your body, safe to experience your full range of emotions and feeling safe to feel pleasure in your body and in your life.
This work is not about being calm all the time, it is about having the capacity to feel everything: your anger, your grief, your joy, without it sending you into overwhelm.
